A Beautiful Day at Kenmare Bay Hotel: Andrew and Sarah’s Emotional Wedding

Emotions ran high at Kenmare Bay Hotel

where Andrew and Sarah celebrated their beautiful wedding. The day was filled with touching moments, especially between Sarah and her twin boys. Just like any superhero mom, Sarah managed to balance her busy wedding preparations with time on the floor playing with her little ones. It was incredible to watch how she took everything in stride, from organizing the bridal party to ensuring her boys were dressed and ready in their stylish summer outfits.

The twins looked adorable in their wedding clothes, with tiny dickie bows and suspenders keeping up their smart little trousers. Their blonde hair shone as sunlight streamed through the windows, creating the perfect scene for capturing some candid shots. I loved chasing after them to get the right angles—it’s moments like these that make wedding photography so much fun.

Emotions

The wedding day ceremony was filled with raw emotion. Andrew was holding it together as Sarah began her walk down the aisle. There’s something magical about that moment when the bride and groom finally lock eyes. I often talk about why this is my favorite part of every wedding, and Andrew and Sarah’s special day was no exception. You could see Andrew’s emotional reaction as Sarah walked toward him in her stunning white dress. And true to her carefree personality, Sarah smiled at Andrew, almost laughing as if to say, “I’m here, relax!”

The atmosphere was so real and heartwarming.

One of the bridesmaids stood up to give a speech, but emotions got the best of her, and she could barely get the words out. It’s these raw, human moments that remind me why I love being a wedding photographer. There’s no need for perfection—it’s the real, unscripted moments that make each wedding unique.

Molls Gap

After the ceremony, I whisked Andrew and Sarah away for a special photo session at Moll’s Gap. Moll’s Gap as a breathtaking spot in the heart of the Kerry mountains, with rugged landscapes, sweeping valleys, and stunning views. We climbed onto some rocks, with the expansive landscape behind them, and it was as if time stood still. Sarah and Andrew looked completely at ease, lost in the moment and surrounded by the wild beauty of Kerry.

Reception

When we returned to the drinks reception at the Kenmare Bay Hotel, the craic was 90, and the energy was infectious. Everyone was in high spirits, celebrating with laughter and cheer. As the evening rolled on, Sarah and Andrew took to the dance floor for their first dance. With their family and friends cheering them on, it was a moment of pure joy.

Real people, real emotions, real weddings—that’s what I live for as a wedding photographer. I’m so grateful to Sarah and Andrew for having me be part of their day. And a special thank you to the Kenmare Bay Hotel for providing the perfect setting for such a heartfelt celebration.

To Sarah and Andrew, your little boys are a credit to you both. Thank you again, and I wish your family a lifetime of happiness.

A huge Thanks

I also want to extend a huge thank you to the Kenmare Bay Hotel and their incredible staff. It's such a blessing to have a hotel car on hand with a driver who is just one of a kind. He knows exactly how to be kind, calm, and supportive, which makes all the difference on a wedding day. It’s always a pleasure to work with such a professional and thoughtful team, and I’m truly grateful for their support throughout the day.
