Hi, I’m James, a Cork wedding photographer.
Cork is home, and after hundreds of weddings I know it pretty well. I’ve photographed weddings across Cork, from the city and Kinsale to Clonakilty and West Cork, and no two days ever run the same way.
I work with whatever the day actually gives me — sunshine turns to rain, timelines slip, plans change — so you get to spend it with your people instead of chasing a schedule.
The photographs I care about most come from the people around you: the laugh you didn’t expect, your dad getting emotional, the madness on the dance floor. You enjoy your wedding. I’ll make sure the story isn’t lost.

If I’m not shooting another wedding the next day, you’ll see your images the very next day. Half-day wedding? You’ll see some before the day is even out. I get to work, I don’t wait around.

Portraits, your way.
Love the camera? We’ll take 45 minutes. Don’t want to be away from the party too long? 15. I ease you into it, make you laugh and work through it, and you’ll nearly always say, “is that it?”

More than you’d expect.
A full day comes down to 500 photos or more, and nearly all the time I deliver nearly double that. These are your people, and you’ll always spot something I didn’t in the ones that didn’t make the cut, so I give back as much as I possibly can.

We honestly couldn’t recommend James highly enough. He captured every moment of our wedding day so perfectly and made us feel completely at ease from start to finish. The photos are absolutely beautiful — natural, relaxed and full of all the little moments we wanted to remember, without any fuss or feeling like we were constantly posing. We were also blown away by how quickly we received our photos afterwards.
We couldn’t recommend James highly enough! He was punctual, great fun, so easy to work with, and made everything feel completely relaxed. He didn’t fuss or worry anyone and somehow managed to capture the perfect shots without us even really noticing he was there. The turnaround on the photos was unbelievable too — the first photos came through within 24 hours, with the rest following within 48 hours!
James made us feel completely at ease from the very beginning. Everyone from the wedding was talking about him afterwards. Professional, relaxed and brilliant to have around all day. He is exactly the photographer you want beside you on your wedding day.

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Ireland?
My packages start at €600, with options from elopements and part-day coverage to full-day collections with handcrafted albums. You can see everything that’s included on my packages page.
When should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples lock down their dates roughly 12–18 months in advance.
Do you travel outside of Cork and Kerry?
Absolutely. I cover weddings all across Munster and nationwide, including regular trips to Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, and Waterford.
What is your visual and working style on the day?
Relaxed, unobtrusive, and raw. I blend into the background to capture spontaneous emotions and laughs as they naturally unfold.
We feel incredibly awkward in front of cameras. Can you help?
Almost every single couple tells me this! My entire workflow is built around keeping you laughing and comfortable with no stiff, forced poses.
How quickly will we receive our finished photo gallery?
You will receive a high-resolution digital sneak peek shortly after your wedding, with your full hand-edited gallery delivered within a few weeks.
