I don't photograph every wedding, or every moment, the same way. Some moments need no direction at all. Others need a little guidance, beautiful light or something more creative. I move naturally between documentary storytelling, candid moments, relaxed couple portraits, family photographs and editorial-inspired images as your day unfolds. The style follows the moment, so your wedding never has to follow a photography style.

I've photographed weddings all across Cork, from Cork City and the surrounding countryside to Kinsale, Clonakilty, Bandon, Cobh, Midleton and right across West Cork.
Big hotel wedding, small ceremony, registry office, country house or something completely your own, the approach stays much the same. I want you spending your wedding with your people, not disappearing with me for half the day because somebody decided that's what wedding photography is supposed to look like.
We'll get the photographs that matter. I'll organise things when they need organising, help when you need a bit of direction and then get out of the way when the real moments start happening.
Working as a wedding photographer in Cork also means knowing how quickly a day can change. Sunshine becomes rain. The timeline slips. Somebody disappears just before the family photographs. Dinner gets called twenty minutes early.
None of that bothers me. After doing this for long enough, you learn to work with the wedding that's actually happening rather than trying to force it back onto a schedule.
I know many of Cork's wedding venues, churches and photography locations, but I never want two weddings to look the same simply because they happened in the same place.
The photographs I care about most are usually created by the people around you. The laugh you didn't expect. Your dad getting emotional. Your friends taking the piss. Your mam fixing something that didn't need fixing. The madness on the dance floor.
That's why my photography is built around real moments first. Beautiful portraits absolutely have their place, and I'll always help you when help is needed, but I don't want the photography taking over the reason we're all there in the first place.

Forever and Eternity include a handcrafted 30 × 30cm / 12 × 12" wedding album, designed around up to 80 photographs from your day. You’ll have a choice of finishes, but if you ask me which one I’d choose, I’ll nearly always point you towards the Acrylic Prestige.
The crystal-clear acrylic cover gives the photograph real depth and the lay-flat design lets the story flow beautifully across the page. It feels substantial without being fussy, and it’s exactly the kind of album I want my couples to still be taking down from the shelf years from now.
No long wait afterwards
I aim to share a small selection of sneak peeks as soon as I can after your wedding. If I’m not photographing another wedding the following day, that can often mean the very next day. Your complete gallery is delivered within 4–6 weeks, although, as many of my reviews mention, it’s often considerably sooner.
Your photographs are yours to keep
Your private online gallery makes it easy to view, share and download your photographs in high resolution. Intimate and Moments galleries remain online for 3 months, while Memories, Forever and Eternity galleries remain online for 6 months. You can download as often as you like while your gallery is live. Once it arrives, I always recommend downloading the complete collection and keeping at least one extra backup somewhere safe, as the online gallery isn’t intended as permanent cloud storage.

After photographing hundreds of weddings across Cork, one thing has become very clear to me. Couples don't want to spend their wedding day working for their photographer.
You want beautiful photographs, absolutely. But you also want to be at your drinks reception. You want to talk to the people who travelled to see you. You want to laugh with your friends, hug your family, have a drink and actually remember what your wedding felt like.
That's how I approach wedding photography in Cork. I'm there to make things easier, not turn your day into a production. If the light is beautiful, we'll use it. If the weather changes, we'll adapt. If your timeline slips, nobody needs to panic.
And while we're doing all of that, I'm watching the rest of the room. Your dad trying not to get emotional. Your friends taking the piss. The kids doing something they definitely weren't supposed to be doing. Your grandmother laughing at the table. The people you love being completely themselves.
