I’m James O’Driscoll, a wedding photographer based in Cork — and I travel anywhere in Ireland for the right couple.

I’ve spent over ten years photographing weddings all over the country. From city hotels and country houses to cliffs, farms, churches, and back gardens.

Cork and Kerry are home. But great weddings happen everywhere — and I’m happy to travel wherever your day takes place.

I’m based in Macroom, Co. Cork, but I photograph weddings all over Ireland.

Munster is where I work most — Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Waterford — but I regularly travel further afield for couples who connect with my style.

Whether you’re planning a wedding in Galway, Dublin, the Midlands, or somewhere completely off the beaten path, distance isn’t an issue. If the day feels right, I’ll be there.

From the moment I booked James his enthusiasm and fun relaxed vibe made me confident I'd picked the right photographer. On the run up James was so quick to respond and calm any worries I had. On the day itself from the moment he arrived he brought the best atmosphere. The craic was 90 and everyone raved about how funny and amazing he was. His turnaround time was super fast and I couldn't have been happier with the photos. He really caught the essence of us. So many amazing candid shots. The photos we took with the Galtee mountains are truly breath taking. We just have to decide which one goes on our wall. Again his responses to any requests we had were lightning fast and nothing was too much trouble. A master of his craft and a top Cork man. I cannot recommend James highly enough.

Q: Do you travel outside Cork and Munster?
A: Yes. I’m based in Cork and work all over Munster, but I also travel anywhere in Ireland for weddings and elopements. I’ve photographed weddings across the country and abroad. Travel is always discussed clearly upfront — no surprises.

Q: How fast do we get sneak peeks?
A: Usually the same day — sometimes within hours. The full gallery is normally ready in 4–6 weeks.

Q: Do you do elopements?
A: Absolutely. I’ve shot elopements in Killarney National Park, Gougane Barra, and wild Kerry cliffs. My Intimate package is designed just for that.

Q: How many photos do we get?
A: Depending on your package, between 350 and 750 edited, high-resolution images. Always fully edited, always yours to keep.

Q: Are travel costs included?
A: Yes, travel across Munster is included. For further afield (like Spain), we chat through details upfront. No hidden extras.
