Planning a wedding in Kerry?
If you're looking for a Kerry wedding photographer who captures real moments naturally, without turning your day into a photoshoot, start here:

Kerry Wedding Photographer – John & Sharon’s Valentia Island Wedding
John & Sharon… what a day.
As a Kerry wedding photographer, you get to see some incredible places — but Valentia Island is something else entirely.
From the minute I met them, I knew this wasn’t going to be a quiet one. Just good people, good energy, and a wedding day that felt easy from the very start.

Valentia Island – A Kerry Wedding Like No Other
The first time I ever photographed a wedding on Valentia Island, I didn’t even know where it was.
Now… it’s a place I always hope I get called back to.
About an hour and forty-five from me, and on a good day, one of the most beautiful drives you’ll ever do. The road winds through the Wild Atlantic Way — mountains, ocean, bends that open into views that stop you for a second.
It’s not just a location. It’s an experience.

Natural Wedding Photography in Kerry
John and Sharon had already said they weren’t big on the camera — something I hear all the time as a Kerry wedding photographer.
The truth is simple.
If you show up strict, barking orders, people shut down.
If you show up as one of them — chatting, laughing, keeping things light — everything changes.
I guide when needed, but mostly I just let the day happen. We walk, we talk about anything except photos, and before they even realise it… the best moments are already captured.
Real laughter. Real smiles. Real moments.

Morning Prep Overlooking the Kerry Coast
John and the lads were getting ready at his sister’s house, overlooking the bay.
One of those calm, easy mornings. A few laughs, a few stories, and just the right kind of energy before everything begins.
That same feeling carried straight through the day.

The Royal Valentia Hotel Wedding
The Royal Valentia Hotel is one of those venues that just fits the island perfectly.
Warm, welcoming, and genuinely relaxed — exactly what you want for a wedding in Kerry.
The ceremony room itself is something special. Cosy, intimate, and full of character. It holds the moment without overpowering it.
The staff were incredible all day — calm, organised, and genuinely looking after everyone.
It’s the kind of place where everything just flows.

Valentia Lighthouse – Wild Atlantic Wedding Moments
The weather started perfect.
Blue skies, calm, one of those rare Irish days.
But this is Kerry… and it changed fast.
Rain came and went. Wind picked up and stayed.
Standing on the edge of the Atlantic, you don’t fight that. You go with it.
The veil had a mind of its own, nearly heading for America at one point.
But that’s exactly what you want here.
Not perfect. Not calm.
Real Ireland.

A Day That Was About People, Not Perfection
Guests had travelled from everywhere — even Australia.
And that’s what stayed with me.
Not the weather. Not the timeline.
The people.
The connection.
The feeling of the whole day.
John & Sharon — absolute legends.
