William and Mandy’s wedding at the breathtaking Springfort Hall was a testament to their love and the unyielding Irish spirit. Though the day was dry, it was wild and windy, with Mandy’s heart set on an outdoor ceremony. Kudos to the Springfort Hall staff for allowing the wedding to proceed outside, even when the famously unpredictable Irish weather threatened rain.

I’ve known this couple for quite some time—two genuinely kind and caring individuals. So, I expected their day to be filled with heartfelt moments. Upon arriving at the hotel that morning, Mandy was a whirlwind of activity, ensuring everything was running smoothly, the quintessential bride managing every detail. Her wedding dress, provided by Vows.ie, was stunning, and even though she was still a bit anxious about the small details, her radiant smile made it all seem perfect.

During our bridal portrait session, I reassured Mandy with a simple, “Hello, relax, it’s going to be fine.” Her smile grew wider, and we continued capturing those cherished moments. The first look with her dad was particularly touching. Despite the potential for a makeup touch-up, their emotions were beautifully held in check with laughter and heartfelt kisses.

The highlight of the day was when Mandy’s three boys saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. As they rushed in, their awe and excitement were palpable. The youngest exclaimed, “Wow, you look awesome, Mum,” which melted Mandy’s heart—and ours as well. Their vows under the beautiful lime tree at Springfort Hall were exchanged with endless smiles and laughter, showcasing their deep connection and joy.
