Weddings are always special, but Carmel and Shane’s day at the stunning Hayfield Manor in Cork was quiet elegant. They chose this beautiful 5-star hotel for its elegance, charm, and perfect location. Even with COVID-19 restrictions in place, the love and excitement more than filled the room. Hayfield Manor’s cozy yet grand atmosphere brought their vision to life, and the staff went above and beyond to make it truly memorable.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear Carmel and Shane were in for a magical day. Hayfield Manor’s lush interiors, with its elegant staircases and luxurious rooms, set the scene beautifully. The bridal suite was buzzing with excitement as Carmel and her closest friends prepared, while Shane was off making sure every detail was just right (or pretending to lol !). The hotel staff made everything feel so relaxed and seamless, even with the COVID restrictions.
For their intimate ceremony, Carmel and Shane chose a beautifully decorated room within Hayfield Manor. The indoor setting felt warm and inviting, perfect for a small gathering under COVID-19 restrictions. The hotel’s staff took care of every detail, from seating arrangements to decor, ensuring everything looked impeccable. The atmosphere was cozy and close-knit, allowing everyone to witness Carmel and Shane’s vows in a relaxed, intimate space. A big thanks to Hayfield Manor for creating such an elegant, effortless setting for their ceremony.
After the ceremony, we couldn’t resist taking some portraits on Hayfield Manor’s gorgeous staircase. With its timeless elegance, this staircase added just the right touch of luxury to their photos. Carmel and Shane looked absolutely radiant (and quite like movie stars, if I do say so myself!). Capturing those moments on the grand staircase, with Carmel’s dress flowing behind her and Shane beaming by her side, was truly unforgettable.
The reception was a small, joyful gathering of close family and friends in one of Hayfield Manor’s intimate dining rooms. COVID-19 may have changed their original guest list, but it didn’t change the spirit of the day! The staff treated everyone like royalty, with incredible Irish dishes that were the talk of the evening. After heartfelt toasts and a lot of laughs, the night ended with everyone feeling full – both in heart and stomach.
