At a certain point, we ventured over the fence where the land opens up. It’s well back from the edge, and it feels like you’ve got the whole place to yourself. This part of the day was especially nice. We just wandered around, continuing our chat, and captured some lovely, natural photos. Engagement shoots, in my experience, are always relaxed and fun. They’re an ideal way to break the ice before the wedding day. You get the chance to discuss the timeline for your wedding and get a feel for how we’ll work together. For me as a photographer, it’s a chance to understand what works for my couples, what they enjoy, and what makes them a bit uncomfortable. This helps me tailor the wedding day photos to suit their personalities perfectly.
If you’re planning your wedding and looking for Cork wedding photographers, or maybe even thinking about elopement photographers in Cork, an engagement shoot is a fantastic way to connect before the main event. Not only does it help you get comfortable in front of the camera, but it also gives you and your photographer a chance to create a bond. Whether you’re looking for a laid-back vibe like Pam and Niall or something a little more styled, it’s always worth meeting up and chatting through your ideas.
Let me know if you’d like to chat about your own engagement shoot or wedding day. We can explore some amazing locations like Owenahincha Beach or any of the stunning places scattered around County Cork.
