The Weather? No Problem!
Now, as any Irish wedding photographer knows, the weather can be unpredictable, and showers were definitely forecasted. After arriving at the Ferrycarrig Hotel, we did get caught in one or two downpours, but that didn’t stop us from making the best of it. At one point, I was using my jacket to shield Tricia from the rain! Still, John and Tricia didn’t let it phase them one bit. The rain was just another part of the story, and we even found a few dry spots to sneak in some great shots. They were total troopers, and I loved how nothing could dampen their spirits.
A Little Star in the Spotlight
One of the highlights of the day? John and Tricia’s little boy! This lad was a born entertainer—clapping, cheering, and hyping up the whole crowd during the ceremony. He honestly stole the show, and you could feel the love and joy radiating from him. I can’t wait for him to look back on these photos years from now and see what a big part he played in his parents’ special day. He was a total legend!
A Huge Thank You
I want to give a big shout-out and thank you to John and Tricia for letting me be a part of their amazing day. You two were just brilliant, and it was a real pleasure capturing every moment. Your family and friends were a joy to be around, and the love in the air was palpable.
A massive thanks as well to the incredible staff at Ferrycarrig Hotel. Your team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and your warmth and professionalism added to the magic of the day.
To all the guests, too—thank you for bringing the craic and making the day so much fun! It’s always a privilege to be surrounded by such wonderful people.
Memories to Last a Lifetime
It was one of those weddings where everything just clicked, and despite the occasional rain shower, the light of the day truly came from the people—John, Tricia, their little boy, and all their loved ones. I’m already looking forward to sharing the photos that capture the heart of this fantastic day. It was a brilliant journey up country and a wedding I won’t soon forget.
